Hi all

I have recently bought ana RS300 Trophy, but the RS Monitor app is missing from my R-LINK system in the car.

It shows as activated in the R-LINK Toolbox.

Any ideas please?

It’s a very very old monitor that was in someone’s cabinet bitting dust… And they gave it to me for rs 200…

About the dust : yeah, even water and a wipe won’t help. That’s the cleanest i could get it for this post.

Can you suggest something to clean it?

this car already has RS monitor showing active in the R-Link website, just not available to download into the car.

* Log into the RLink store website. I will assume you have already entered the VIN and you can see RS monitor under “My Apps and services”
If not, go to https://gb.rlinkstore.com/ and register!
Best to download RLink software onto your machine and have the prepared USB stick ready.

USB stick needs to be FAT32, 8GB minimum. Plug it into your car for a couple of minutes with the RLink screen on. No notification will appear but you can remove it after 2 minutes ready to use with the RLink software

* Click on My Services, and on here select My Updates.
* On this tab, select the Manage my products button
* Select Manage on the R-Link line and this will show you the apps assigned.
* On mine, RS Monitor was NOT ticked. Tick it and press Sync.
* Take your USB stick which you have synced with the car, plug it in and fire up R-Link 2 tool box. RS Monitor app now appears as a downloadable item.
* Go and plug it into the car and it should self install.

I have yet to load it onto the car, but have loaded it onto the USB stick ready for when I next go for a drive! Oddly going back to the Manage my Products to take a screen shot, RS Monitor is now unticked again. Odd but at least a little step further!
